What we collect, what we don’t, and where your case data lives. Short version: your case data never leaves your server, and we have no way to access it.
Your case data never leaves your install. The Command Center runs on your server. We do not see, store, transmit, or have any way to access your cases, hearings, deadlines, notes, filings, settlement positions, witnesses, or audit logs. We could not produce this data under subpoena because we do not have it.
The only outbound network call the software makes is a license check, which sends your license key and nothing else.
When you purchase a license through Gumroad, Gumroad collects the information needed to process the transaction:
PinkViper Labs receives a notification of the sale, including your name, email, and the product/tier purchased. We use this information to:
Gumroad's privacy practices are governed by Gumroad's Privacy Policy. We have no control over what Gumroad collects or how they use it. They are an independent merchant of record.
The Command Center makes exactly one type of outbound network request: a license validation call to Gumroad's verification API. This happens at first install and approximately every 30 days thereafter.
The validation request contains:
The request does not contain:
The license validation response is processed by your install. The response is cached locally in a small file at data/.license. We do not log, store, or retain the contents of these requests on our side beyond what Gumroad's API does as part of standard request handling.
We have no telemetry, no analytics, no usage tracking, no error reporting, no crash logging, no "phone home" beyond the license check. The software does not connect to any server we operate.
If you discover that the software is making network calls we have not described here, that is a bug. Report it to hello@litigatoros.com and we will fix it.
Your case data lives in a localized database on your own server. You are the sole controller of that data. We have no copy, no backup, no shadow record.
This means:
The marketing site at litigatoros.com does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking pixels. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no advertising network. The site is plain HTML and CSS.
The Command Center software itself does not set cookies or use browser local storage for tracking purposes. It uses standard browser storage to remember your interface preferences (theme, default tab, etc.) within your own install.
Gumroad's checkout pages have their own cookies and analytics. See Gumroad's Privacy Policy.
If you email us, we receive your email and any information you include in it. We use this to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any marketing list without your explicit opt-in. We do not share your email with third parties.
If we send transactional emails (receipts, license keys, security updates), those are sent from hello@litigatoros.com via our email provider. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address.
Purchase records (name, email, license key, transaction details) are retained for as long as your license is active, plus seven years for tax and accounting purposes. After that, we may anonymize or delete them.
Support email threads are retained for two years after the last message, then deleted.
License verification logs at Gumroad's side are retained according to Gumroad's policies.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. To exercise any such right, email hello@litigatoros.com with your request.
We will respond within 30 days. Note that we hold very little personal data about you (purchase record and support emails, essentially), so most requests are quick to fulfill.
For European users: we act as a data controller for the purchase record and support data described above. Our legal basis for processing is contract performance (delivering and supporting the software you purchased) and legitimate interest (operating our business and complying with tax law).
The Command Center is sold to professional litigators and firms. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy materially, we will notify active license holders by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
